My wife’s cousin was visiting and she started vaping in our house without asking. I politely asked her to stop (ok probably not politely), which made her upset and defensive because there’s “no” second hand smoke issue. Should I have brought it up? Supposedly its not bad for people around it but I thought it was rude

We do not go out much with friends. One of us almost always hosts the others at their place and make dinner. The guests bring sides/desserts/alcohol. So much cheaper and it can be more fun.

Ok who would actually be willing to replace him in leading the US with better credibility?

Who would replace Klinsmann? The guy led a Germany team that was not expected to do much to 3rd place in the 2006 World Cup. He brought along a 21 year old Bastian Schweinsteiger and 22 year old Philipp Lahm. He also started a 21 year old Lukas Podolski, who won best young player over Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel

The Western Conference is going to be ridiculous this year.

When you are trying to save as much money as possible on the small things, it can be hard to see the big picture where you could save a lot more. Look at the big ticket items. Track your spending and see where you can improve. Focus on spending money where it needs to go.

I think the reason DraftKings & FanDuel is advertising so much is because they want to become the “Kleenex” of fantasy sports. They don’t want people to talk about signing up for fantasy leagues, they want them to talk about signing up for DraftKings or FanDuel exclusively. They can’t let the other out-advertise for

“We want to spread love and positivity.”

Cane’s is amazing. Their sauce is legit. Go there.

Looking into the program shows that a online course about the “fundamentals of buying and owning a home” is required to qualify. That would be a good thing depending on the course.

You could argue the same thing for with multi-income two person household where both are the borrowers.

Great article. Being financially responsible isn’t just about saving and saving and saving. Use your money on the things you want, not to just buy stuff you won’t actually use.

Give Papelbon a break. He was just trying to make Harper feel closer to the team, the most of them having been choking for months.

I’m fairly open about money, especially my saving strategies. But I like to talk about it with someone who wants to discuss the strategies that go into money, not to compare salaries. Most people want to make and have more money, and that should be a joint effort rather than a competition.

As a guy many would consider “manly”, I don’t understand it either. Maybe they all hang out with guys just like them and can’t see any other side but their own. Being able to express their opinion online as “facts” doesn’t help either.

That is what I do, I calculate how much percentage would be the max and put that into my allocation. The only problem is when I get a raise I have to recalculate, but that is a once a year deal so it isn’t a real issue.

I know Fidelity also does a automatic yearly contribution increase. If you are lucky enough to have a job where you typically get a yearly raise, that is a good program to enroll in too. Also, when you start a new job try to sign up for the automatic contributions as soon as possible so you don’t get used to a bigger

I’ve always felt most of the people who would make a great President wouldn’t actually want to be the President.

But think of all the extra education they will receive because of this!

This is all around a great thing. As NPR states, people who need help can get more healthy foods while also getting local farmers more business. The program is a win for everyone.
