That sounds amazing. I need to find enough serious players to start a league like that.

A 2 punter league? I like the sound of that.
That sounds fantastic, how do the points work? What website do you use to run it?
This is why we should have fantasy punters. How fun would it be to root for a team to punt all the time?
I had the same question a year ago so I’m glad I can help!
Is it that hard to believe some people have circumstances where they can’t do $18,000 a year?
You can put in $18,000 a year, whatever your company matches does not count toward the limit. Using your example, you can put in the $18,000 and get the company match of $2,000 for a total of $20,000.
Awesome article, as someone who tells everyone to put as much as they can into their 401k this is something people need to keep in mind.
I think this could ruin friendships unless there are very specific guidelines. It’s easy to let money come between a friendship.
Exactly this.
Roth IRA is good for diversifying your tax risk. Who knows what the tax laws will be when you retire. So it’s good to have options when withdrawing money from retirement accounts. Between a traditional 401k and a Roth, you have several avenues to go regarding tax breaks.
When you have to drive 2 hours each way to drop-off/pick-up someone at the airport these things matter dammit! You know your from Wyoming when you think about these things. I’ve actually timed if I-80 to I-25 or 287 to I-25 would be quicker to Denver.
It depends on if CSU is in session or not. I-25 can be quicker. Also 287 can be dangerous at certain times (night).
Agreed, I have some friends getting married in Jackson next summer. I love going up there but they could have saved themselves and everyone else a ton of money by getting married somewhere like Saratoga, which is beautiful. Or any other small town like Centennial that has awesome views and food.
Agreed, there is actually a website that will tell you what ETFs have the same purpose of mutual funds. Just search for the mutual funds and it will tell you related ETFs.
I use Charles Schwab for my taxable ETFs. I put money into their US Broad Market ETF (SCHB, expense ratio 0.04%), and their International ETF (SCHF, expense ratio 0.08%). Most people I talk to about this swear by Vanguard or Fidelity’s Spartan funds.
Just a quick correction, Saratoga is 2 hours west of Cheyenne on I-80 (Source: I’m from Laramie).
