I know it’s not that kind of publication but I genuinely don’t understand how you have 11 critics put lists together and there’s not a single metal album here.

How is there no mention of Lupe Fiasco performing The Cool? What a fantastic homecoming show (and easily the best full album play I saw, after Fishbone sounded extremely muddy and poorly mixed even though the performance was goo)

I think top to bottom this was way more punk focused than some previous years. After more branching out previous years, this felt really back-to-basics with a lot of safe, repeat acts. And not in a bad way! I had a ton of fun

It was in the low-to-mid 70s all weekend

As a frequent music festival attendee I have to defend this. 20,000 people (allegedly) partied for 5 days and there were a few violent incidents between drunks. To me all these headlines sound like the local authorities trying to make it harder for these events to happen.
