Maybe I’m delving into conspiracy theory mode here, but if the autonomous robots were controlled, were the autonomous cars from the event just big RC cars?

At this point, you’re a complete fool if you believe a word that man says.
Because he’s always earned it.
He’s touting it as free internet to make himself look like a hero, I’m betting the last thing these people need is a $400 fee and an expensive internet contract.
Totally AI drivel.
Another example of his ‘wolf in sheep’s clothing’ capitalist motivations. He does not look out for anyone but Elon. There is no charity this man believes in other than his own.
It’s not a bait and switch but it’s 100% a PR stunt. If you have internet to order, you don’t need Starlink! Starlink is still profiting off sales of the equipment. The equipment needs to be delivered to a hurricane ravaged area in a timely manner for the offer to be meaningfully impactful.
It’s a buncha BS
If they have internet service to sign up for the promotion that is only available online, why do they need 30 days of free internet from Musk?
This comment sounds like AI drivel?
It’s scuzzy to say they’re doing something to help with an emergency and then not really offer much in the way of delivering. StarLink hardware is expensive and it will be next to impossible to deliver the hardware to the areas most impacted. Thanks for nothing.
Hey now, Elon didn’t get rich by giving things away for free.
He got rich because his daddy is rich and then used that money to slap his name on other peoples good ideas.
Name a good thing he has done that wasn’t for his own financial gain?
This critique seems to be lacking in hypothesis and resolution. There are some elements that suggest that this is not in fact a critique but a bad faith argument in defense of Musk and his grift.
Because Musk is a racist piece of shit con-man.
I work for a retailer, and when we send food and water to hurricane victims, as we do literally every time there is a major hurricane, we do not force them to sign up for a food delivery service with a free week and force them to make a deposit and keep them on the hook for monthly payments if they don’t cancel. We…
If it’s Elon, it’s always a grift, all the moreso if he can grift desperate struggling people.
I remember when people were less gullible and weird cults usually involved people in silver bedsheets waiting for space aliens to come and take them to the stars.
By gum, it put THEM on the map!
It really won’t be. The dream of fully automated vehicles with no change in infrastructure is completely unrealistic. If the vision is a future where you don’t have to drive yourself, trains and busses already exist. Update that tech and expand service.
