Mr. Show is still the best sketch show and always will be and they didn’t need to fall back on ethnic stereotypes or racism. Well, except for a few times. Maybe half a dozen. But when they did blackface they did it 90s ironically which totally makes it ok.
I don’t think it’s that wierd, people can be two things. Most horrible people aren’t horrible to everyone in their life.
