Got a little lump in my throat reading this. I’m not saying we don’t have a ways to go yet, but goddamn. It’s always good to have a reminder of how far we’ve come, and how hard those who came before us fought (which is why we can’t get complacent!).

I know I’m like 10 minutes away from starting my monthly grind but I am emotionally unstable in the best way. I am sobbing again because of this woman WHO WATCHED HER MOTHER VOTE IN THE FIRST ELECTION THAT INCLUDED WOMEN and also because my own three daughters are going to witness a woman elected president of these…
This is still my favorite:
The queef joke was about as crass as any of the garden-variety dick jokes we hear all goddamn day long. Front farts are funny! These dudes are just pissed off to be reminded that pussies have other functions than for fucking.
Christ yes. No love story, no sex stuff, a queef joke... and not one dig was made at any of the characters’ weights. I was able to focus on the movie the whole goddamn time instead of being taken out of it by ham-handed gags about women Doing Things and Being People.
The reaction is such sexist bullshit. It made the most money of any live-action comedy this year, outgrossed expectations, got 76% positive on Rotten Tomatoes — and it’s still a disappointment because, I dunno, it didn’t cure cancer and earn $100 million overnight.
It was really refreshing to come out of the film and realize that 0% of it was filmed for the male gaze.
Saw it. Loved it. Kate McKinnon is a treasure.
Menstrual Justice is my new feminist punk band,.
May no one in NYC have to bleed through their pants again. That shit is humiliating.
god bless you.
Will you please be my new best friend?

I’m agnostic on the draft itself, but if we are going to have it then all citizens who are fit to serve should be required to register.
Not a gif, but this guy posed his fat grey cat to recreate Pusheen cartoons. It cheered me up immensely today while home sick from work.
