Yeah you're right. I haven't seen the show in a long time and I remembered the 2032 part but forgot that they only jumped ahead in like the last season or whatever. There's one show that would be nice to have in reruns somewhere.
We only need to wait about 20 more years...

I used to go to con in the late 90s/ early 2000s and definitely noticed when I went back 2 years ago how crazy it had become. The lines for panels are just ridiculous and the crowds have just gotten nuts. I actually wish that maybe they should let you could sign up for them ahead of time so you could do other things…
I just got into Breaking Bad and am now almost through season 4. LOVE the show!! Probably one of my all time favorites. Dexter has had a presence at the con for years and while the books get kinda crazy sff, the show itself is just as much a regular crime show as Breaking Bad is so I certainly think it has a place. …
Anthony Bourdain + dystopia? I imagined Transmetropolitan with Rachael Ray as The Smiler
And silly me imagined an owl dressed like George Clinton...
I have to say that the film didn't blow me away, as others have mentioned. However, I did think it was solidly entertaining and my toddler daughter absolutely loved the horse bits and the little bears. One thing I have to say, though, was that I was SO glad that the film played with expectations. I was really…
I'm absolutely blown away. These are so stunningly gorgeous. "The Storyteller" hit a particular chord.
Yeah they should make a new Felix the Cat. There's a property I wouldn't mind being updated. In case you didn't know, I was actually referring to the game in the new Disney movie "Wreck-it Ralph." which you can play here - [disney.go.com]
Once Upon A Time - Magnolia=Mulan right? Disney is really stretching with these fairy tale properties. Next think you know, there will be "Robin" a foxy thief who steals from Regina and gives money to the poor or "Mo" a wild boy who has a fondness for bears. I'm calling it right now, Henry gets a new video game and…
I'm gonna say that if Oliva is dead in our universe that Fauxlivia is going to show up in the future somehow just to keep Anna Torv on the show (since it doesn't seem to indicate that she is not coming back at all).
How? The same way they buy into "The Secret," "Think and grow rich" etc... Rubes, plain and simple. Desire to believe surpasses logic or scrutiny and the desire to be able to control their lives/ become empowered or magical or rich allows them to be susceptible to suggestion.
Guys, Scott C is my favorite!! Genuinely nice guy and amazing artist. I'm actually surprised you haven't mentioned him before. I would HIGHLY recommend taking a look at his "Great Showdowns." Hilariously adorable, especially the anthropomorphized "characters" from movies. His book "Amazing Everything" is a great…
Love love love!!! These wacky stories are what makes me love io9 so much.
I was really uninspired by most of the music from Princess and the Frog, Tarzan, Hunchback, etc... Tangled I surprisingly really enjoyed and thought the music was catchy, albeit not Menken/ Rice classics from the early 90s. Having a real Broadway composer (Tony award winning at that) is a sign that Disney is really…
Imagine as sung by Michael Fassbender with Wall-E dancing along... Your welcome.
If they just made a "Moon" like movie starring Michael Fassbender it would have been 10 times better than this vagina dentata filled mess of a movie. Oh and anybody else want to see David and Wall-E hang out and watch 200+ year old movies together?
Oh yeah, if they used Peter O'Toole that would have been really interesting. Make him look just different enough from himself that it would explain why David had an interest in this 200 year old movie, though between Lawrence of Arabia and Hello Dolly you'd think robots in the future could find more to watch. Oh and…
