On the other hand, they’ve known each other less than three months and in a really weird situation where she’s been “dating” a bunch of other dudes. I totally get being unsure about it, and I say this as a married person who knew very soon into my relationship that that’s what I wanted.

I was hoping that the comment about boys losing a role model meant something more like, “Boys are losing a role model who shows them that it’s not always about violence and harmful displays of power. Boys can always benefit from seeing that characteristics of caring aren’t just ‘for girls.’”

It’s oddly comforting to discover other people feel this way. My husband is always talking about how we’ll live to be 150 so we can be together for so many years, and I just think about how that sounds great, except for everything that would be happening around us.

This little girl sitting behind me and I jumped up and down and sang together and it was all wonderful. I love Taylor and I don’t care who knows it!

My friend and I went to see the Red tour and had the best time! There may have been considerable beer involved, although we would have had a great time regardless.
