This looks amazing. I also love the art of Vinland Saga, which is one of my favorite manga. IMO good art is just as important as a good story.

I haven't seen many engineers, so I really can't comment on them. I did see players saying it had issues, and that ANet was working on making them better.

I played in the two beta weekends, as a warrior mostly. What would you like to know?

The problem with the demo from the first game is that it ends right when the game opens up and becomes really good.

Combat in GW2 gets better in dungeons. I played through the Ascalon Catacombs during the last beta weekend, and proper dodging of attacks was a necessity for survival. It was also fun to change weapon sets mid-combat, completely changing my role in the fight. I played as a warrior. When a boss decided he had enough of

I think you can kill him in the first one.

They have a World vs World vs World pvp zone which you can join at any time to fight over a castle and keeps and other smaller objectives. It looks pretty big, and it's a 3-way battle, pitting different servers against each other. Looks pretty cool. It has siege weapons too.

If you travel to lower level zones, the game will scale your character down so that you can't ruin the other players' fun by killing things instantly and quickly completing events. That should address your concern :)

THAC0 is actually a simple mechanic. You take your THAC0 rating, subtract the target's AC, and you got your target number for the attack roll.

I haven't seen anyone mention that difficulty is also part of Dark Souls' story. When talking to the NPCs, seeing them give up, asking you why you go on... Those dialogs wouldn't have the same impact if the game was easy. The main theme in this game is that everything went wrong, and fixing things is far from easy.

Yeah pretty much, since I still do hold some respect for them for what they're doing (or not doing depending on how you look at it) with DRM. I guess I pretty much wanted to point out that it might be a little unfair to have nothing but hate and resentment for them over this.

As a fan of both Witcher games, I am very happy with CD Projekt Red's efforts in providing so much value to legal consumers of their games. Their recent actions have diminished the respect I hold for them, though. I used to tell a lot of my friends how CDPR was a great developper and that they definitely deserve

It seems it's a free-to-play but pay-to-win kind of game. That kinda sucks for something that's mainly about competitive gameplay.

@NeVeRMoRe666: I believe the man is trying to prevent the woman from going back from where they came. Pulling is probably his only option to achieve that.

@Batman: I did play Risen and while the combat didn't change all that much, I felt that it worked a little bit better. Also, I think it's a much better game than Gothic 3 due to it having less bugs.

@Mike Fahey: Except you left him the Ys. Although technically it is both a consonant and a vowel, and some call it a semivowel. Is there a way to remove half of a Y?

@Hardcore: I actually found the demo to be pretty good. I admit that I had some trouble getting it to run well and the graphics and the voice acting aren't the best, but there are good points to this game that I noticed a lot of people fail to see and/or mention. There's humorous text, many possible outcomes to
