Yeah, this isn’t Reuters.
Can you imagine if they shot him?
So is the Army National Guard going to have to go to war with various rogue State National Guards and local LEO’s when President Beto comes for those sweet, sweet pew-pew toys?
Well that certainly didn’t feel like an Aaron Sorkin script come to life!
Yes, I agree with your take.
I don’t think this problem gets remotely solved until the non-lunatics “responsible gun owner” agree to take one for the team.
There is definitely a much deeper, more complicated issue going on that a ban/buy-back won’t impact alone.
Imagine a scenario where the Feds are sending the National Guard into rural areas to confiscate guns and the local law enforcement was on the side of the area residents.
She went so far as to say that there will be a civil war if anybody attempts to forcibly confiscate guns. I realize this probably won’t happen, but I wondered if anyone would like to comment on this issue?
Better for the environment too, right?
I need to hear more about these “regular Americans”, Liberal George!
Whoops. Cleanup on Aisle 4.
Seems obvious until you consider one thing: corruption.
The problem is that a whole mess of people (Democrats!) are still getting over quite well with the old game. They like the game as constructed, generally.
2. Only serve to further shift the overall political climate to the right, as the idea of compromise for GOP is to move further right and tell the dummy Dems to “be bipartisan and meet me even more on my side of the battlefield”
These people will never cross party lines, no matter how far to the right Dems move. All that does is shift the Overton Window even further to the right and depress Democratic voter turnout.
