Sparky, about once a week someone posts something that makes me laugh the rest of the day. Today it’s you. Maybe because I have wasted the whole damn day on Kinja, and I am punch drunk.

Humans are drawn to what makes them feel good (or in case when they’re drawn to angry/toxic figures or subcultures, makes them feel superior/gratified) and inclined to short-term thinking. I don’t think it’s much more complicated than that.
