Over the Garden Wall isn’t technically a film, though it’s got the length of one! That’s hands down the de-facto Autumnal viewing experience for me

Yikes. Did you even watch the episode? My guess is you saw a screenshot, read a cable guide description and called it a day.
Why this review though? You got the B-plot wrong... the rat was obviously alive and they had to take care of it. No mention of any of the guest voices? No mention of ANY OF THE MUSICAL NUMBERS? Some great callbacks too, like Boo Boo showing up at the end and Louise going crazy. The animation was fantastic in some of…
This is really... meager... as far as reviews here go. It doesn’t even mention the fact the episode is a musical episode featuring the guest voices of folks like Daveed Diggs and Andrew Rannells.
Literally what is interesting about the lamest possible “lol u mad” trolling
He could’ve at least come somewhere close. Or just shut the fuck up. But nope! Down’s Syndrome! Ladies be shoppin’, amirite?
Trying to defend Slytherin House by arguing that Michael Corleone would have been a Slytherin is counterproductive.
I kind of think the “interminable character work” you are referring to could also be called “the show you were watching”? Henry Czerny was the obvious red herring of the series, the obvious alternate choice. Lynch is not southern gothic, it was a lot more like Chan-wook Park’s “Stoker” knocking off “We Have Always…
Also, it's been said by others, but fuck you for spoiling this genuinely great narrative sleight of hand that would have been a joy to see play out the way the director intended. Fuck. You.
Never would have guessed -- why did you spoil this in the title?!
I don’t really know why this needed to be spoiled. Some of us, myself included, are very dense and probably would have been surprised by it.
If the disguise is part of the plot haven’t you just spoiled a major plot point in the movie? It’s like writing a headline ‘Bruce Willis is definitely dead in The Sixth Sense’.
Yay, you spoiled any potential surprise they might have had planned! Good for you! Your existence isn’t cruel and miserable at all, seriously!
Yay, AV Club (via Indiewire), spoil a major plot twist in a highly anticipated movie!
Thanks, I was really hoping that a movie I won’t get to see for months would be spoiled for me by a fucking AVClub headline.
To say this show was ahead of the curve would be a gross understatement.
Yeah, Ice. He’s a comedian. That’s what they do. You’re reading an article about comedians. You should be used to this by now.
Are you telling me that this guy got really good at writing jokes?
Ticks are the same color as Coca-Cola. Could you spot them floating in your Coke bottle?
I think TLJ’s reveal is just as devastating for Rey as ESB for Luke.
