I haven’t seen anything about Fulcrums being in Syria, at least not Russian operated. It’s probably either a Syrian fulcrum (which is definitely old and lacking in maintenance) or a flanker.
It is, but two things. There’s no intelligence to suggest the Russians have 29’s in Syria so it’s likely Syrian. If it’s Syrian it’s definitely pushing its age.

Even if this story is complete bunk, it’s only a matter of time before a Russian jet goes down, be it from malfunction or a surface to air missile.
