I was originally looking for the DL-160, but those are a little hard to come by these days. I've got the DL-110 on a Pioneer PL-550 that my dad bought in the late '70s. It's my favorite turntable of the 7 or 8 I have right now. Just a really beautiful piece of equipment.

You're right in that a ceramic stylus is awful for your records, no matter what. The fact that they track at 6-8 grams just means it's digging that much deeper into the grooves, tearing up everything in its path.

I wouldn't recommend anyone use a Crosley, no matter the price. The ceramic stylus has a ridiculously heavy (and non-adjustable) tracking force that will cause permanent damage to your records.
