Career astrophysicist here: Cosmos is a great series if you are looking for a documentary. For books, I admit I only really know of textbooks, but a good Astronomy 101 textbook can always do you good! They are generally light on the math, if you are a math-phobic.

That’s all well and good, but I’m not really comfortable acting out the only thing that seems to turn me on. I’m one of those “rape fantasy” people. It’s just about the only thing I fantasize about.
