You only need a canopy for pistachios since they can't touch the ground. It is preferred to let almonds dry on the orchard floor.

Also Round Mountain Rd has recently been repaved and is great fun but watch out as there is some gravel in several areas and you will lose traction.

Yes, great road but far to technical to be included in my track, I feel this road would make a great downhil/uphill run, touge style.
