Awesome trip. I never got into the maze because I drove crappy cars and had lame friends. Mostly the crappy car part. I did end up shockingly far down the Poison spring road in a civic once, but nowhere near as far as you guys went.

Your explanations is way better than mine.

Isn’t the top picture just off the road in Utah? Had some fun parties around there. And some long drives trying to get back home before work/school after backpacking trips that took longer than planned

Well accelarometers used to be really expensive until they started going into cars for airbag systems. Then there was a much larger market that could apply pressure to lower prices. And it worked, they got cheaper and better. Now every car has a bunch of them

Hmmmmmmm, Magna you say.....

Very cool. I figured it had to be something like that but couldn’t tell. Even that clarification picture is messing with my perspective a bit

What’s going on with the rear wheel on that first car? I feel like there’s a perspective issue or something

Maybe they are confusing the Bolt and the Volt?

Seriously. It is crazy to see the number of brick shaped vans that passed me while I was doing 90+ mph.

How about the missing lug nut in the title picture? Unless I’m missing something it looks like 4/5 are there

Whats the issue with standing waves in Baku? I haven’t heard about that before

safety wire maybe? or whatever you call it. late here

Whats going on with the drilled holes in the last picture?

A neighbor has a Tesla. The kid might predate the company though...

It almost looks like the driver is the passenger....

I actually know nothing about the bike race I just figured that since its so mountainous ther roads probably don’t go in straight lines and they can have a decently different course each day

Well they do have a ton of mountains. The Grand Raid foot race is 163 km with 9920 meters of elevation gain

Yeah there’s at least one company in Germany that makes various glass engine parts for test and development. I met a guy who worked there but I can’t remember the name right now.....

I bet I’d also let a little mud out in a crash like that

I’d say interesting not quite stunning. But I always thought of the baleen in a whale’s mouth when I saw that grille so the update may help out.
