THIS IS WHY ILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER GAME FROM ACTIVISION. The money you spend buying their new cut-out Call of Duty game with the neat celebrity voices and cool death scenes goes to shit like this, lawsuits against the people that actually create the damn games and make the company execs, shareholders and attorneys rich.

This kind of greedy bullshit (ESPECIALLY coming from a slave driving, developer shafting set up like Activision) prompts me to never pay a dime for any of the products again.

Whats with all the TRON attacking? It wasnt great, no...but it wasnt that bad. It was actually very ok. It reminds me of the people that raged and bitched about Tom Bombadil not being in Fellowship of the Ring nearly a decade ago.

They did a decent job of keeping it just like the arcade, but in doing so, they left all the problems the arcade had. Difficulty is one thing, but the game is made so that its all but impossible to get through without being killed repeatedly. The characters are sluggish and slow.

The sad truth is, the story didnt kill this movie, its blatantly 'liberal' and progressive ideologies laden inside of it "criticizing war, racism, fanaticism, genocide, poverty, and the failures of religion and the search for perfection of the state". Add to that a cast known to have left leaning political activist

@Davina Spafford Stuart: Oh yea, its totally full of cheese (and stereotypes). Even more now that it was purposefully meant to then. I own the DVD. Still, that makes it all the more campy to watch, to me at least.

Now playing

GREAT list...but no 80s sci fi list would be complete without the Angelica Hustons screen debut, ICE PIRATES

That clip made me sad for some reason...I dont know why, it just did.

NBC has been slowly killing off everything Scifi for years. With the Comcast switch coming, it was only a matter of time.

Final Fantasy began to die with part 7. Once glam graphics became more important than story, the series was doomed to fail. I havent played through an entire FF game since FF7. There is a reason why FF4 keeps getting remakes, and FF1 and 2 are top selling iphone games. Those games were story forcused, not

No one watches it because its not available online at Hulu, which is the only TV its primary watches.

No USSR eastern frontlines Mario or RAF Link? Yet another WW2 analogy that forgets the RAF and the Commies did the majority of the work (in the European campaign at least).

Good. Now I dont have to bother with buying that crappy "only play online with no lan party support" blizzard schemery to know the ending of SC2.2.

@Professor K: Imagine how the hundreds of thousands of non-criminal blacks who are refused employment by white employers or racially profiled by white cops because of the tiny minority that are feel about other whites. Kinda skews the view of white people in many black peoples eyes.

The tea party...lulz at identity polics FAIL as a movement.

To break the embarrassing trend of "big city black guy caught on tape stealing video games" - here is one of a 'small city' white guy who stole money, and apparently video games (?) from his dying grandfather...who died/maybe was killed either in the process or shortly before a few days ago. The guy was white, but as

Please dont tease us with anything resembling more FFT. FFT was the BEST game ever created, IMO. It was so far away from its time that no RPG has managed to match it, IMO.

Liefield is a total douche, but he is 100% dead on here. Fox is going pg13 to get a wider audience (as they did with wolverine...hint to fox), but the character is clearly one of the most R rated characters in comic book history.

@samstancill: Defiance did not close the loop, IMO. It did not explain voradors re-appearance, what happens after (Defiance takes place before BO2 even...so there would be at least 2 Kains walking around for the next few centuries), nor does it explain whether the pillars were repaired and nosgoth healed, was the

Someone needs to PLEASE complete the legacy of Kain series. It was one of those game series that had hardcore fans, and its story was EPIC, yet never caught on. Sort of like the 'Arrested Development on Fox' of games. With the new 'vampire' fad going around, I'm shocked no one picked this series back up.
