@DocSeuss: Its not at all like bitching over the net.

The costumes are right out of FFtactics (maybe the best overall FF). This game looks more like a throwback to the classic FF games.
I love how MS makes these gestures they have no intent to enforce. I remember the 'racism = banned' rule they put out ofter at first refusing to acknowledge it then being embarrassed on Dr. Phil for the shear amount of bigotry and antisemetism on XBL. And thats not even mentioning the modem lag-cheat bans that were…
I dont know if that picture has already been mentioned, but it shows TMNT Turtles in Time as 1982. That game came out in 1992, if I remember correctly.
Aside from the typical 'screw activision' mantra everyone is throwing around, thinking objectively about all this, something has to have happened that we are not aware of. Activision does not seem like it would openly cross the creators of their billion dollar franchise. The ensuring PR blitz against activision will…
I just hope that despite how it looks, it actually 'feels' like a castlevania. Aside from a few of the DS games and the excellent redo port of Dracula X on psp, no game since SOTN has managed to capture the 'feel' of castlevania in the last 13 years.
@royaljester: No, I am arguing that I wont buy SC2, and that PC games are slowly dying (this net requirement is an example, sales numbers and big store game slots are another).
If it does, thats the LAST straw. I wont buy it. I dont care how reminiscent it is, Starcraft will go down in my (and many others apparently from the posts here) mind as a legendary 90's PC game that attempted a cash-sponge sequel that I never bothered with 12 years later.
@silvarga: I 100% am not 'blame the gays'. I am totally pro-gay marriage and equal GLBT rights. I am totally sorry if I offended you or any gay people, and it was absolutely not at all my intent. I wont insult you with the whole 'I have gay friends' route (typical disclaimer for prejudicial remarks), I will just say I…
@AmosTrue: My apologies if i came off combative. I have pretty strong feelings on the topic as you might guess. Likewise, its something that gets brought up to me often.
I am going to be the jerk here who says it, but has anyone else noticed that modern mainstream media and fashion industries obsession with women that dress, look like, wear clothings styles of, and have the body shapes of men?
@AmosTrue: Perhaps I was replying based on personal observance and generalizations, but that does not take away the fact that black women bear a huge burden that is even more taboo, or deemed 'sexist' to discuss, within the black community. I will say that your observance of educated middle class black men like me who…
@famoustrip: VERY good point on Mead/Chevron. The FCC has been traditionally accepted as authoritative on issues regarding the net unless they cross over into 1st amendment territory. I think this ruling is more an attempt to 'fish the court' and see if the lower court can get its ruling to stick either via denial of…
I spent all but 3.5 years of my life in school. Enrolled in Pre-Kindergarten early. Went to elementary, jr high, high school, then community college, then university then law school, quit, then a bit of grad school, then quit again and am not back finishing law school after 1.5 yr break.
I never watched much of Armada, but me and everyone else I knew lived and breathed by the first and second generation Transformers back in the 80s. I still remember crying when my mom wouldn't let me go see the movie in theaters...still hurts...
The modern court is moving closer to an unregulated laisse fairez pre-new deal 'Lochner' type of balancing consumer/personal and corporate interests (as seen with the recent citizens united v fcc and nixon v shrink cases). Consumer rights = going down the toilet to corporate interests.
@VonDante: Easy to say from a comfortable arm chair or desk. Ask yourself this, if it was you, or your father or your son out there who was killed unarmed for no reason. Would your acceptance of it be so casual?
LOL. No matter how many ways they try to spin it, the truth is that after the controversy sparked by ME1, hire ups issued the word to tone it down. Hence the non-nudity, lack of gay relationships.
