I hate to be the guy that brings this up, but perhaps increased immigration from neighbors is the answer to their problem?

Microsoft/Windows 7 is moving away from the PC game market so as not to cannibalize their closely monitored, heavily profitable and expensively developed Xbox360 mass market.

@18kcrit: Understandable, but even that purchase feeds into their ideal that they can continue to screw consumers in such a manner.

This will be the 2nd new game Ive purchased on my PS3, and the final game until late summer with my budget.

If you purchased the game knowing the crappy DRM that parasitically attached to it by UBI, you deserve the loss of playtime.

I rented FF2/4 six times back in the early 90s. I only picked it up because there was nothing else at blockbuster and I heard it was great. Looking back, I regret I waited so long to play it.

Keep telling everyone how great the PS3 is, eastern developers and companies. Maybe one day we lowly westerners will listen. If it werent for futures hopes on GOW3, I probably would be regretting having ever purchased a PS3.

Takes me back to the golden days of 8 bit gaming! Oh the memories!

This could be sony's golden horse, and if planned right potentially a future competition to iphone. (maybe 5 years down the line or so).

If anyone could answer this question I would be eternally greatful: How is the job market over there for Americans?

They can keep whatever games are released with this DRM. My time and money are more valuable to be used on other games.

Im sure this has Nothing to do with the scandal that recently developed around this game. No way this is any kind of PR 'let things cool down to avoid negative press around release' manuever.

@thepenguin55: They totally cowed to Fox News by taming them up. They tried to play it off like they didnt, but why the heck else would the sex scenes be LESS realistic and adult in the sequel than in the original?

One of the few things that could possibly convince me to buy a brand new Mac (thats not an ipad...Ill probably get that anyway) would be an announcement like "Half Life 3 on Mac before PC" or "Portal 2 on Mac first".

Im waiting for nudity to become mainstream in video games. .Not being sarcastic, I really am waiting and endorsing it. After all, we have games where you can kill, maim and mutilate a person in nearly any possible way imaginable, with varying degrees of reality. Why not have nudity?
