Oh yeah, the bass octaver and whammy/pitch glide models are really good too. There's a few people on basschat who've tried out a lot of pitch based pedals and were shocked to find that the M series punch well above their weight. I love being a bassist though as I can get away with barely anything on my pedalboard.

The delays and reverbs of the M series stuff are excellent across the board. I got an M5 for my board but stuck with the Rat as modelled distortion sounds terrible to me, and I'm far from being a tone purist.

I already knew this story. I clearly spend too much time sitting in recording studios reading old issues of Sound On Sound.

"Come on out Julie!"

I'm the same and I picked up the game yesterday. I've done around 4 games so far and it's not too bad in terms of there being some impossible skill ceiling, I've managed to survive more than 10 minutes into games apart from once when I got stupid and wasn't paying attention. It's certainly not as bad as CoD or Counter

You'd never get this sort of thing here in the UK.

A slightly odd observation but I like picking up a guitar and trying to play along to the music in the show and noticed both the main theme tune and Hurley's song at the end are both tuned flat enough to sit between notes. I dismissed it with the theme tune but as it cropped up again so long after the theme was

If you can get past the gimmicky approach, the Thug Kitchen is an excellent vegan cookbook. Only had one recipe so far I didn't enjoy and it's very light on obscure/expensive ingredients. I'll check Isa Does It out as well.

Also, Firefox (with no visible desktop shortcut) and that folder you have on your HDD called 'Tax Receipts' even though you're not self employed.

Wait, you can mail order pies?

There's a few similarities but you're not spoiling anything by watching Stranger Things. I can get why you'd wait though, I think ST series 2 is out around Halloween and It shortly after so you can binge on 'group of scrappy young outcasts fight cosmic horror and older kids with knives' for a week.

Looks like one of those films that pops up on Netflix just after you've forgotten it was a thing and ends up being a perfectly good way of spending an evening.

"viciously intense three-piece Pig Destroyer"

OK, I haven't read it so was going from 2nd hand info. Thanks for clarifying.

A friend pointed out that The Secret History of Twin Peaks was written from the perspective of a character whose name is just given as "Agent TP" so I suspect her role is going to increase as the series goes on.

You could put all your overdue bills in it.

It's not too hard to eat healthily, you just have to have a little knowledge and plan ahead so you get the nutrition you need from meat/dairy foods elsewhere. My girlfriend has been vegan for a little over a year and we're both able to make a lot of varied, great tasting meals. If you'd have asked me before I'd have

Huh. Some stuff in my life just made sense.

I read the book before I became aware of Christina Hendricks but she's a great choice too based on what I remember of the character. Good to know the show's casting seems to be working for people.

Way ahead of you.
