When it comes time to vote, I’m pretty sure those 1.4 million are going to remember which party tried to limit their ability to do so.

It’s probably a mix of starry eyed, naivety, and the old magicians misdirection. 

I worked in bankruptcy and this was one ‘technique’ that we would have clients do so that they had a car after bankruptcy without horrible interest rates- hard to do because you needed somebody with credit still intact- weird when it was the same finance company that was about to get given a u-boat

People are looking for an easy way out of a bad situation, the dealer is offering them that. Often these folks lack the thinking skills to question the details.

Sadly many Americans are really uninformed about how the credit system and math works.

How do consumers think that telling the bank “sorry I don’t want to pay for this car anymore you can have it back” will play out for them? Do the dealers tell them that the bank will cheerily smile and say “no biggie, don’t worry about that money you borrowed.” Even if they didn’t understand the concept of a money…

Trump is actually decriminalizing corruption. If he is re-elected he will literally start selling this country to the highest bidder.

Trump is going to pardon Roger Stone. Roger Stone is going to walk out of jail a free man, in his Monopoly Man suit, waiving the Nixon V-for-Victory over his head.

I continue to try to understand the people who give this President their undying and unwavering allegiance. I am failing in this effort.

Coming from the guy who’d rather see Trump have another turn at destroying the world than see Bloomberg win, your confidence in your intellectual superiority over me is unfounded.

Please don’t make me defend Bloomberg. He’s been a registered Democrat for most of his life. He was a Republican for 8 years as mayor of NYC he switched to Independent during his last 4 years as mayor.  He switched back to Democrat I think last year.

That’s why the Democrats need someone who can bridge progressives and moderates but not scare swing state voters and with Bernie and Bloomberg in the race I’m not sure that can happen because one side will be extreme butt sore if their guy doesn’t win.

I don’t like Bloomberg but he is pro choice, pro gay marriage, for the Voting Rights Act. I don’t see him appointing right wing judges. He’s backing Amy McGrath who is running against McConnell. If Democrats take back the Senate there’s no need to compromise.

Geez, do you not realize that whoever emerges as a candidate will undoubtedly be called a racist one way or another, except for Klobuchar or Warren, on the Root or likeminded media? With Klobuchar and Warren, the feminist/glas ceiling factor will most likely trump (no pun intended) the they’re-white-so-they’re-racist-a…

They’re both rich, old racists from NYC. As far as I’m concerned, the only difference is that one of them can speak in complete sentences

And everyone knows Bernie doesn’t care about black people, just about getting healthcare insurance for everyone and other things that wouldn’t help black people at all, so I guess it’s Mayor Pete now?
