Does sh*t like this actually work? Is there really some sad failure of a human being out there who looks at this and thinks "Yeah! This seems legit. This is totally not a scam and boy howdy am I happy that you spammed a website I enjoy so I'd be forced to see this great opportunity! Here let me send you my SSN and…
Man of Steel is by far my least favorite superhero movie. Yes, that includes pre-Marvel Cinematic Universe gems such as "The Phantom", "Steel", and "Meteor Man". Zach Snyder was just SO fucking sure that his movie was going to be SO fucking important that he never stopped to actually have fun (or have compelling…
I actually really liked most of season 1 but had to stop watching after the Joker arc of season 2 ended killing off the last reason I was watching. Yes S1 was flawed but it had some interesting ideas, and seemed to be trying. Season 2 on the other hand just threw everything I liked out the window in the name of being…
I nearly died when I saw Dippy Fresh. Someone on the GF team was a kid from the 90's and ate at Burget King. Beautiful.
It's a pretty solid "C" in my book. Not bad really, just not a lot of good here to latch on to. Honestly I'm not really sure why this episode exists. RBG wasn't that interesting in the first place so I wasn't exactly clamoring for more of him.
A legitimately good episode. It's amazing what this show can do when it buckles down and focuses on good character writing.
They're better than this one but only by so much. The series was at it's best when everything was in service to it's sense of humor. However somewhere along the way it stopped trying to be fun and started trying to be important and it's never been quite as good since.
I don't know what Neddy was doing to the root he wasn't sucking on but I feel unclean watching him do it.
Well Finn is aging in real time, right? So I say end it on his 18th birthday.
Congratulations! You now know exactly how your parents feel about The Lion King's "The Circle of Life"
Same. The show had a somewhat strong start with a few good episodes, some jokes that landed well, and a likable take on the main cast but it's weaknesses get more apparent the more you watch it.
That was the funniest thing I think I've seen all year.
Oh! But I knock off half a grade for the creators not having one of the prisoners playing a guitar on the hood of one of the trucks during the car chase scene. This s*** writes itself people!
LOVED it!
That's the thing that's driving me crazy though. It's NOT classic Gotham. Season 1 Barbara's sexuality was (mostly) treated as legitimate and worthy of respect. Season 1 Alfred had decent judgement and never did anything awful. Season 1 Nygma was a mildly autistic dufus with a big crush and bigger boundary issues.
Oh my God you're right.
Every time I see Nygma Golluming I punch my screen and demand to know why It itn't Harvey Dent doing this shit.
Well I'm pissed at least.
So Gotham feels like a Frank Miller comic and that means it DOESN'T have huge issues with tone?
