I feel real crappy as a 20-something that I failed to fully appreciate 2D sprite work like I do now. I saw games like this all the time and even though I was never enraptured by 3D stuff at the time, it's only now that I no longer take pixel art for granted.

One of my favorite instances of this is in Street Fighter Alpha. Dan was invented as a parody of SNK characters, but then he was given history with Blanka when he came around in Alpha 3 and suddenly both of them had a ton of personality they didn't before.

    Ha, I get it. Time.

Can I at least change the largest heroic organization's name to The AMS?

I hope someone mods this game to change every time someone says "I Am Setsuna" to "I Am Goldman."

We'll stop subverting their national security as soon as they stop hacking us.

Standardization is good, but being only one allowed to manufacture it is not.

That sounds nice, but monopolies are bad.

Since when has that ever been an issue for this series? Remember that elevator scene in 999 or the PEC incident?

What about that quantum computer that simulates every possible reality ever? Will technology really get to that point by the 2030s?

Lagomorph was one of the most memorable characters though. Whoever voiced him clearly had way too much fun doing it.

It really is a little too convenient and contrived for its own good, but what was done with it was so well executed that in the end I didn't really care that much.

It was supposed to be symbolic I guess. Sigma seems like he'd be into making things as dramatic as possible even when no one's watching.

That was a red herring. Alien hand syndrome is brought up at the end of one branch and never mentioned again, because it was a cop out and they both knew it and wanted you to know that it would be silly if that were actually the case.

So was anyone else like "ewwwwwwww!" when they revealed Phi's origin?

So how long before those anti-localization nuts get on Nintendo's case over this technically necessary semantic change?

I've wanted a new Zelda 2 for years. The second I saw that bit in the Breath of the Wild trailer where Link can jump freely, I decided it's finally here.

He was always next to other characters that were seemingly not of colour.

I really miss the days before the internet came around and decided that games shouldn't be allowed to surprise the player anymore. I'm intentionally avoiding all tips and guides for Pokémon GO because of it, and I'm having a better time going in blind like a real adventurer than an alleged expert. Come to think of it,

I'm still waiting for the news story of serial killings in the name of a Pokémon GO team.
