i haven't seen this since I was a teenager trying to make sense of Entertainment Weekly's essential sci-fi list, but I was bored and hated all the characters except Edward G Robinson. (Edward G Robinson was magic)

This movie is too 70s disco to be taken seriously and too dull to be cheese. Don't see the love for it.

People who argue that religion has no place in science fiction baffle me. It's almost like arguing humans have no place in science fiction. Religion absolutely belongs in SF, it's a huge part of our culture and our reality, and it's a map of the universe that makes sense to billions of people.

Black space-bounty hunter named after a Confederate general.

That's the silliest thing I've ever heard. We regularly run headlines with yes or no questions where the answer is probably yes. This is the sort of "law" that's made up by people with too much time on their hands.

Yes, it is a UFO.

No. Just no. She is the definition of pretentious. And waaay to good to hang out with the likes of you and me. Re-evaluate son.

Alton Brown is where it's at.

Ina Garten is one of the few old school Food Network stars I can stand. Besides making good food without histrionics, I like it when her husband rolls up in his 7-series like a real Hamptons Gangsta

John Wall = awesome dude

You can be my wingman anytime...

We've tried each spinning space mote

A lot of these illustrations were straight out of 2312 from Kim Stanley Robinson; Iapetus, surfing Saturn's rings, and the Terrarium. Was really cool to see someone's artistic visualization of some pretty amazing ideas from Robinson

Absolutely beautifull.. i'm wishing for a movie experience in this style. Pure Sci-fi. Interstellar was good, but it did not fulfill my desire.
