I liked MW well enough, even played the big arcade networked version a bunch of times in the old days. But none of those types of games can top the home pc version of Heavy Gear 2. That was the pinnacle of armored suit combat simulation. Too bad they let it wither away.

Love the idea of authors who write one book well and tell a complete tale, the sequel thing is vastly overdone IMO, and seems to sap creativity mostly. But it must be said that a few trilogies are truly exceptional and some series are great.
