When you  are 17, being popular enough to play video games as your career is like winning the lottery but I can see it’s losing its luster as you are approaching 30.  Glad she is trying to get herself a healthy work/life balance.

I am crushed by this, and I never even got to meet her in person. I can only imagine how devastated her family is.

I mean, they are pushing the index pretty hard. So I don’t think they’re out of the hardware business, just diverting resources towards VR instead of controllers.

They’ve been working on this with a team of 50 people for the last 3 years. Maybe give it a chance before making judgements about what it will and won’t do.

Yes, but Valve will likely want people to buy the Index and this *could* be an exclusive for that, which is currently $999 for the full kit.

He isn’t.  Why is it such a problem for him to state his opinion?  It’s not like the sheer strength of his resolve threatens to overwhelm your will and make you a thrall to his tastes.
