Yeah this would blow for multiplayer or big RPGs but 20 hours is great for solo player campaigns and it’s basically like renting. Hell if this lets me play Alien Isolation (just an example) maxxed out at 3440x1440 running at 100hz for a weekend I’d pay up.

Hadn’t played a console shooter in years but got into halo 5 multiplayer last fall with my roommates and had a blast. I’ll definitely keep up with proplay.

When i first watched it, the deaths were a bit of a surprise and I felt the pacing/chracter development felt a bit fast, but the second time through every second spent with each charavter felt more meaningful knowing they would sacrifice…

Yup, not planning on over clocking for quite some time and paired with 16gb of 2400mhz ram, should be set. My first system had a fx 6300 6 core and between the heat, noise, and bottlenecking, I’m very happily paying the intel tax.

Nvidia a in a tough situation because if they do support freesync now, they’re essentially telling everyone who invested in a g-sync monitor that they wasted an extra $200.

What are your thoughts on the Nintendo switch? They seem to really be pushing the return of gaming being a local event, instead of everyone else pushing online everything. Do you think this will work and people will buy into it?

I will probably miss how quiet my 970 is, but being able to play games at a better frame rate and higher resolution will be worth the trouble (I also use headphones so that helps). Just bought a new 650w psu which should be fine for my 4970k and 390x.

Yeah, I currently have a 970 and wasn’t planning on getting a new card until the 1170 comes out but at $206 (my 970 is selling for about $185 on ebay so it’s a $20 upgrade) with more VRAM, better ingame performance, and freesync support, I figured I would be way more content with the card for the next year or so. Nope, planning on getting the microboard 34inch panel. 3440x1440, Samsung VA curved, 100hz, freesync.. $699 on ebay. Just snagged a new 390x on sale for $200 at frys today too so I’ll be able to take full advantage of the screen :)

About ready to submit my gaming/editing workstation involving a 34inch ultrawide and a newly remodeled Mac Pro computer case :)

Thought this was going to be about a console player switching to PC while still using a gamepad and dominating. Obviously was wrong. Hes a great player so no matter the input, hes going to get good at whatever platform he plays.
