The first twin that passed over the boat looking up was a Beaufighter. The second one dropping bobmbs was a He-111 (probably CG).

The first one is literally a Zelda game, and a pretty good one at that. It got a little padded out towards the end but the environments and gadgets were all really well designed, there were some very cool setpieces and monsters as well.
