Why does South Park need to talk about things of "equal" importance? Problems are problems.
It's like saying that I shouldn't worry about my internet safe space because there are starving children in the world.
Thankfully, I have starving children protecting my internet safe space.

I can definitely understand the criticism that South Park fosters a culture of apathy (even though it's not necessarily one that I agree with) but what kind of bothers me is that we seem to care too much about whether pop culture validates our progressive sensibilities.

Because I've seen dozens of other commenters doing this (not on this article, but throughout the weeks of South Park coverage) so it's more a general attitude than a specific person.

I understand peoples' criticism on South Parks "everyone is stupid" ethos, but I wish that people would watch the goddamn season before talking shit about it.
