As a guy who wholeheartedly loves med-rare beef and other meats of all shapes and forms, I will say I’ll definitely be buying this in stores after trying it in a local restaurant earlier this year. You can barely tell a difference. It’s more a novelty for me, but it’s less cholesterol and sad cow friends.

Real meat is built from plant protein that is mechanically separated by chewing, chemically broken down in the gut, and stored in muscle tissue. When you consider the fact that plants create food, while animals do not, meat is the most processed food you can eat.

Pretty good. I had an Impossible Whopper, and I’m pretty sure if I didn’t know in advance that I was eating it, I wouldn’t have known it wasn’t a normal Whopper.

Exactly. I love beef, but cutting down on my red meat consumption, especially in something like I burger where I can barely tell the difference, is a good thing.

As a meat lover myself, I just tried it a few days ago and I was impressed. It was quite tasty. I don’t want to give up meat but I am concerned about the farting cows so figure it’s good to keep my options open.

My curiosity/hope is that they can keep the cost down.

This is much better than Beyond. Still no beef substitute, but makes it easier for you guys not needing to cook 2 sets of meals.

it isn’t lab made meat. it is a veggie burger that tastes like the real thing. I’ve had them at bare burger and when you throw bacon on top, with pickles and ketchup etc I honestly can’t taste the difference.

Tracking and standards. Restaurants are required to cook food to certain standards and have regular inspections (yes, I know, but its more than happens in the average home kitchen). Also illnesses traced back to a restaurant can allow them to determine if other people from the same place experienced the same issues as

Looking forward to this. I love red meat so I’m not looking for a replacement, but it’ll be nice to have something once in a while that tastes like a decent approximation of said meat, yet has different nutritional benefits (and downfalls, of course).
