Any cloverleaf design has weaving-movement issues built in unless you build slip ramps in your design which older designs never have. Those weaving movements/conflict points would stack up with the necessary lanes to have a decent LOS for the volumes I am seeing there.

Clovers take up a lot of space and have weaving movement problems and these reduce conflict points which in turn helps to alleviate congestion.
