Agreed. A normal 15 year old is more than capable of feeling empathy and concern for others on the road. My 15 year old relative, just getting her learners permit, is terrified/nervous of driving because she is worried about crashing and potentially injuring other people on the road.

She does sound like one, no license and took car without permission, decided fun to bump person at 50mph, laughs about it. That isn’t normal, teens do dumb stuff, this is way past dumb stuff. Shows zero concern for impacts of actions on anyone aside from how they make her feel happy, obviously not afraid or aware of…

I really feel the same way. There are cars of the late 90s and early 2000s that hit the sweet spot for me between “dailyability” and unhampered fun. I’m finding myself daydreaming about fairly pedestrian cars of yesteryear simply because everything has gotten so bloated and complicated.

Old cars will be better than (current) new cars in about 10 years.
