Jalopnik really has the bases covered on my interest areas lately. Electric Mustangs and intergalactic poops, I’m quite satisfied. Good work ladies and gentlemen.

Um, call it whatever the hell you want, I really like that. Solid range (I drive 3 miles each way to work) and pretty stupid fast in GT trim. I have three kids and like Mustangs, pretty sure I’d buy one regardless of the name.

By naming a four-door, electric family SUV a “Mustang,” and telling us that it’s “Mustang-inspired” with no explanation beyond that infinitely meaningless phrase, Ford is assuming that we’d just accept that.

So it’s a (hopefully) cool looking electric crossover that will (probably) be pretty quick and (ideally) fun to drive. Oh the horror!
