I can’t look at that pic of Kim without feeling like she’s actually a Terminator and that’s what she looks like when they peel her rubber skin off to do regular maintenance.

True, we kinda have a Hillary/Trump situation here.
I’m more of a ‘fuck all the big companies’ person myself, but yeah, when you expected something like mods for a PS4 game, and Sony denies it due to control issue, it’s rather disappointing, for sure.
I’m saying fuck Sony too but don’t have the memory of a goldfish. You can fuck them both.
Sony stopped giving a fuck when they took the sales lead.
Also, Kendall got the Vogue Germany cover too? Seriously Vogue?
She was a untalented tv actress on show on a off brand network. Who had one turn in one good movie. I don’t know, why she’s acting like this. Girl, get it together.
I also found this snobbery so hilarious considering that premium and OTT are like... basically where the cool shit is happening in the entertainment industry. But yes Shailene honey, hold onto that retrograde idea that TV is not as good as cinema.
Everyone’s missing the forest for the trees, this is bigger picture. Sony’s basically saying “no mods unless it’s our terms” while MS is saying “eh, have at it”... this isn’t FO4 and Skyrim we’re talking about, this is console mod future. I don’t understand how no one is picking up on this fact.
they may have changed their mind and may be doing something different, but I’m not necessarily interested in doing a television show
Or perhaps Sony doesn’t want that kind of user freedom on their platform? That was the first thing I thought considering they went out of their way to state they wouldn’t approve of the mods the way they should work, where they can do anything. Sounds like they wanted some sort of regulation? Idk.
You seem smart, I like you. I just posted something to the effect of “Sony’s been drinking too much of it’s own Kool-Aid!” myself.
Its starting to look like the other shoe has dropped. First with the arbitrary increased cost of PS+ (a service that goes down more often than my last boyfriend). Then with the PS4 Pro costing 400 (which is fine but...) while making it seem that core system and new slim owners will be getting the short end of the…
I don’t think Sony realizes the potencial damage this can be for the sales of the PS4 during the holiday season. I bet that Skyrim remastered will be one of the top sellers of this generation (like GTA V, that every month is in the top 10) and Sony just gave a big reason to people buy an Xbox One instead of a PS4.
Or Xbox which supports mods too.
I don’t get this at all, does Sony really think they are so far ahead that they can piss off a substantial subset of gamers and there won’t be a backlash?
Oh lord I can see it now, two different versions for PS4 games.
Running a game at 4k resolution is actually a much smaller hit to performance than most people think. A lot of the frame drops come from other sources like post-processing effects, when it comes to modern games. People severely over-estimate how big of a deal this whole 4k thing is.
However I do share your concern…
This is interesting, as I was thinking about whether the PS4 Pro really is powerful enough to basically just “upgrade” games to native 4K without a performance hit, but there are some quotes here that kind of indicate that there could very well be a performance hit. Is it plausible that PS4 Pro 4K “native” games will…
