So edgy to hate a widely praised performance

As entertaining as Heath Ledger’s Joker is, and likely it is the best portrayal there is, I just found this whole moral dilemma that Batman has, which the Joker plays on to be idiotic. The truth is in the whole movie Batman never beat the Joker. Batman had to rely on faith that Gotham’s citizens will do the right thing, and he lucked out that they did.
