Yes, at least the one in Ice Cream Sandwich. I never used the one in Gingerbread so I can't comment on that.

Saw your comment in my thread but didn't see the picture. Looks good!

I think it's an Android feature, I've been doing it on CM7 (and now CM9) on my Fascinate, very useful at night you can quickly change it from lockscreen, and also when you enter a bright environment, you don't have to search for a brightness setting, just wake the phone up and swipe.

There is a calendar app... it syncs with your Google Calendar and whatnot.

I'm using Nova Launcher but the concept is the same, just go into settings for the launcher and make the grid 6 columns by 6 rows (tweak these numbers to get a number you desire) and then place your icons!

That'd probably look really nice on the Galaxy Note, given the thing is a huge as heck brick.

2560x1440 is too low res for your 1280x720 (minus some due to the UI nav bar) GNexus?! Not sure if trolling...

This is my version of it (I'm using Nova Launcher Prime instead, and the STAY POSITIVE wallpaper from the same Wallpaper link in the article):

This was exactly what I had in mind.

Same, had to ask IT for localadmin rights just to get some stuff up and running (drivers for the 4G modem, etcetc)! And ditto for the trackpad as well, the one on my personal dv6t is quite larger than it, but the surface is definitely nicer on the T420.

My dv6t with pretty beefy specs (i7 SB @ 2GHz, 6GB RAM, 750GB 7.2K RPM HDD, 1GB HD 6770M GPU) was only $800 (with a 30% coupon). Build quality is fine, does not feel cheaply made whatsoever. Point being, I'm not hating on Macs, I just find them highly overpriced.

Work provides me with a T420 with your specs, and with the corporate VZ bloatware that's installed, it still runs butter smooth. Build quality is great (as with all Thinkpads), HIDs are good (keyboard nice and solid, trackpad smooth, etc) and I can easily run multiple CPU-intensive programs.

    *scratch* fffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

Add TWO 2x extenders to that D: D: on an APS-C sensor.. or maybe even more, M 4/3 sensor?!

If you're about to start giving them away I'll be first in line.

So does the actual Facebook app, just use the "with" function (the icon is a person with a + sign).

I'm thinking about grabbing a pair of those, other than the "noise canceling" from the seal, how is the sound?

This. Trillian handles my chat, and the logs are tiny text files, it takes literally no space on my drive. Not to also mention, I rarely get IM's anymore, I use Facebook Messenger nowadays.

As Rojo said, it's a computer. If you click on it, you can get a full size view, where you can see the USB, VGA (weird.. I'd have a basic GPU with HDMI..) and other PC parts.

Just about to say that, the display on my T2i's are very nice with those 902400 dots or whatever it happens to be.
