The Lego Movie minifigures series is already out - I have about half of it. Emmet has a second face that is way better:

They even called it Spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP! Nice move, Lego. Consider it bought.

Yes. It has a Star Wars tone, an X-Files formula, and an apocalyptic, The-Stand-ish mythology. Entertaining as hell, and it's not bubblegum—it raises a lot of interesting questions, too. Best new show of this past season by far, at least in my opinion.

I think the bedroom dresser has taken the place of Tupperware.

I feel like they try to save the budget for computer effects, latex beasties, and Ichabod's replacement coats, and take advantage of the North Carolina scenery whenever they can. (And thank you!)

Squeeze was another cool episode. It even got a sequel!

Don't forget the terrifying Flukeman from X files, "the Host" -

If we're gonna have an X-Files episode, it's gotta be "Home" with the Peacock family.

The X-Files is really the undisputed champ of Monster of the Week programming. I don't think anybody did it better.

Fringe: Does White Tulip count as MOTW? Peter Weller's character is a one-shot deal, but some of the themes tie into the mythology...

While most of those are simply the effect of boredom, I couldn't stop laughing at the sledgehammer on the door. That poor guy/girl had the heart of a champion.

It was still more coherent than the plot of Transformers 2.
