Dear friend, you are describing The Rise of Skywalker. :)

Kylo’s the villain in The Last Jedi and a big old douchebag. The only character who agrees they need to “kill the past” at any point in that movie is Luke Skywalker, and Luke changes his mind and mocks Kylo for being completely wrong by the end.
God I hope this is well received. The backlash from The Last Jedi taught Disney a very potent and incorrect lesson: the fans want the nostalgia wank. Of course, the opposite is true: we know how big this universe can be, want stories of those non-Skywalker characters, and those who cling to the Skywalker saga are not…
Name 4 games that give you an explicit choice to drink or not.
Some people don’t drink, for various reasons, and it’s cool to see the option to roleplay that in a game.
I have to cop to loving this show and not minding its spotty characterizations. I accept it as more of a slapstick comedy in a beautifully weird and creepy world so, as long as I’m laughing and marveling, I don’t mind thin characters and lack of forward momentum.
I’m not saying that moments like this are bad, but it’s certainly bad that it’s the only thing he brings to the table.
Upvote for “There’s a lot to like about this show”.
There’s a lot to like about this show and I love Alex Hirsch, but King’s whole “I say demonic things undercut by being cute!” shtick got old by the end of the first episode and it’s all the character has. It’s like One-One in Infinity Train, a one-note gag character that torpedoes my enjoyment of an otherwise…
They goddamn better.
“It’s OK” seems to be the consensus.
I sure this review will be received reasonably and people, regardless of whether or not they agree with it, will debate politely. It’s a good thing Star Wars has never caused people to behave in a disagreeable fashion.
Remember in Last Jedi when fallen son Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) smashed his Vader-esque helmet to bits as a symbolic rejection of the past? It takes him all of 15 minutes to weld it back together in Skywalker
He’s gonna carry that weight.
I hope he has a speedy recovery, just for his sake not the show’s.
I came to say the original FFXII got me through six months of chemo. I won’t be playing this one because of the association, but I recommend you play it. If you don’t like MMOs because of the other people, this game is perfect.
Is Final Fantasy XII trying to train us all to become programmers?
Over the years, many critics have compared the game’s story to Star Wars, which is fair, because the game’s story is basically Star Wars.
My only issue with the game (apart from Vaan) was how long it took for the story to unfold. I remember crawling through fields for hours just waiting for that next glimpse of political theater! The fast forward button sounds perfect for this.
It’s so weird because when I played the game, I was not really bothered by Vaan at all. I don’t know why people are up in arms about him at all. He wasn’t THAT bad.
