You make this claim, where is the proof to support it? I hear this statement a lot, yet no one can come up with actual proof, actual numbers, in an actual official setting of some kind where it was clear that the input device, not the poor design of the game, or the poor skill of the players, was a deciding factor.

My point in this post is that its not mutually exclusive. If they allowed PC and Console players to play together, they could very easily enable mouse and keyboard support in the Console version of the game, for anyone that feels slighted by the control differences.

The post I am responding to is making unfounded claims. My experience may be anecdotal, but no one that has ever made the claim otherwise has given any real examples that clearly show the difference, they just make unfounded claims and try and pass them off as well known fact.

I have played FPS games with a controller on the PC and done quite well against most non pro-level opponents. I try a keyboard and mouse, and I am lucky to get a kill. I think PC gamers think that this is a bigger problem than it really is.

Since when do console gamers not have access to a keyboard and mouse? Consoles fully support this if support is enabled in the game. Just off the top of my head UT3, Dust 514, and FFXIV allow for controller or keyboard and mouse input.

If you understood how MMO server emulation worked, then you would know that there is zero stealing, copying, pirating, or anything else involved. Never once is an asset stolen, or used without permission.

My example was perfectly accurate. The point was that “taken” does not amount to the same thing as “copied”, its as simple as that.
