I think he means older as in, not games released “relatively recently” which is not accurate because there are quite a few new games on there like Titanfall 2, Battlefield 1, XCOM 2, and of course all of the PSVR games.

The Last of Us: Left Behind is not DLC. Its a bite-size standalone game. It does not add content to The Last of Us, nor does it require owning The Last of Us. As Wikipedia describes it “The Last of Us: Left Behind is an action-adventure survival horror video game.” There are people/places that call it/list it as

I absolutely love JRPGs. From Final Fantasy and Dragon (Warrior) on the NES when I was 6-7, to the latest and greatest today, and I think Anime is bleh. I have tried a couple times to enjoy it (its seems that as much of a geek that I am, that I would have some interest in it, so I try) but it holds zero interest for

I don’t think anyone is dismissing the new in FF XV, aside from the usual vocal minority. Nothing wrong with a bit of fan service, especially if its tied into a great game.

3ds has not had enormous success. Its not a complete failure, but its hardly an “enormous success” just comparing the 3DS sales currently to the DS at the same point in its lifespan, the DS had ~100-125 million in the first 5 years, vs the 60 million 3DS units.

Abandoning a product that consumers do not want is just smart business sense, its not “lack of support” from Sony its “lack of interest” from the consumer and 3rd parties. If VR has a lack of interest from consumers or 3rd parties, nothing Sony can (or should) do will change that, and it will become another dustbin

History tells us nothing of the sort. When has Sony ever dropped support for a peripheral (or any hardware for that matter) that sold well and had decent 3rd party support?

Exactly, thats what I am trying to say. Its not an objective fact that PC is somehow better than Console, its subjective opinion. As such, Rift/Vive value proposition is not automatically better than PSVR value proposition. Its better if you are a PC gamer, but then, it wouldn’t really matter if the PSVR blew the

You are making a simple mistake: PSVR != PS4. PSVR is a headset that currently works on the PS4 and PS4 Pro (which, by the way, can offer improved visuals for all games including VR), and will likely also work on the PS4 Pro II, or PS5, or whatever they call it 5 years from now. Not to mention, Sony talked about

This is entirely subjective. In my opinion, a $400 PS4 (or Xbox One) is worth far, far, more than, well, any PC. I game on a console because I think PC gaming (in general) is not enjoyable at any price. (Which to be fair is the same reason most PC gamers don’t game on a console)

Very few games are PS Move only. Sony has stated that almost all games will work with the Dualshock 4, with a select few requiring the Move controllers.

“to other already-released systems that aim to do the same thing.”

I would buy this in a heartbeat if it was a LCG. A CCG is just too much waste.

I would buy this, without hesitation.

There is actually unlimited room in the row, which you can limit to 10-15 of the most recent if you choose. The problem is that “most recent” is broken. When a game gets patched it will often move its way to the front of my list even though I have never played the game before.

You can wish all you want, but reality is quite a different place. If I paid someone to mow my yard, and then later I bought my neighbors yard, I would not expect them to come back, for free, and mow the new addition to my yard. I paid them for a service, I got exactly that service. You are not entitled to some future

I think you are missing the point (both of them). The first being that with the “upgrade DLC”, you know who pays for the upgrade? The people that want it. The people that have the PS4 Pro. If it was “built in” to the price of the game, you know who pays for it? All PS4 users that buy the game AND all PS4 Pro users

Don’t be absurd. Firstly you would not buy a console per remaster, so the notion that you are buying a remaster + a console instead of a remaster is just absurd. The second is that “patches” of these kinds are for existing games. “Patches” refer to modifying an existing product. New games will come out with support

You are making huge, inaccurate assumptions about the differences between a game on the Pro and normal PS4. Its not just about better textures. Its about a more dynamic world (more dynamic detail), an increased draw distance, increased visual effects (more visual effects), reducing load times, potentially merging

While that could certainly be the case, I think the idea is that for existing titles its going to take work to add in features/functionality for the PS4 Pro.
