I don't know anyone in real life that doesn't have their phone within 5 feet, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. of the few people I know with a vita, they rarely ever have it on hand, and it's usually powered off, tucked in a case for on the go play.

I would wager most people have smart phones, which are usually always with them and can do a much better job with YouTube than the Vita for these uses.

I bought a PSP at launch with quite a few games. A year later almost all of the UMD cases had broken (and I handle my electronics very carefully) I stopped buying PSP games because of that.

Are you certain? PS plus is not required for free to play games like DCUO. Sure it's not entirely free since you buy the base game, but I am not sure that this is the defining factor. Do you have any official word that PS+ is needed?

It's probably amazing on rooftops.

it's very slow loading (you will often be left behind in dungeons, sometimes even locked out of a boss) and if you participate in FATEs, you can only see very few players (and sometimes can't even see the enemy you are fighting) because it limits the number of models on screen to a very low number. Other than that

Coincidence is not irony.

Instances are timed events and watching cutscenese not only wastes the time of everyone there that has already seen it, but the timer is still counting down. I am not condoning the practise, but there are valid reasons for it.

I can't speak for your experience. But I have played the intro for nearly every class (and starting city) and within two or three quests (that last a minute or so each) you are off doing combat quests outside of your city. That is if you follow the main story line, you can pick up dozens of side quests on your way

When I abandon a character, I delete it (who keeps a bunch of aborted characters laying around?) So checking the number of characters is not really very useful.

I feel the same way, only just saying Windows is not enough anymore because that's becoming less and less specific as phones and tablets and pcs converge.

Thanks for the heads up, this game looks pretty interesting!

I don't understand what the issue is. You knew this was a deal setup long before Destiny released, it was discussed many times on many sites, so why act surprised all of a sudden when you bought a game KNOWING full well that the DLC has timed exclusive Sony content? You bought the gaming knowing this, it's not a

These look pretty nice, and EVE is a fun game but its just not worth the $15/mo subscription price. (To be clear I am definitely not anti-subscription!).

Yeah with the PS3, originally you could have up to 5 different PS3s have full access to your library, and then they lowered it to 2 PS3's when it started getting abused for piracy. The PS4 and (apparently) Xbox One style is just a further evolution of this to prevent piracy as much as possible.

The PS4 added a restriction in game sharing that the PS3 didn't have and if you plan on sharing your games with your wife on another PS4, you should be aware of change.

I'm not sure you understand. If you have two PS4s (just like with PS3s) as long as your account is on both of them, any account on them can play any game you bought. Just like what you do with you and your wife. This is not a feature they advertise, it's just how the PS3 and PS4 have always worked.

It's hardly a pain in the ass to spend about 30 seconds to switch the vita over. It's not ideal by any means, but it's far from locked.

This is not entirely true. Any software with an update gets pushed to the front even if you have never used it. As of this morning (after the firmware update) the Share Play, Sony Music and Sony Video apps are my first three though I have never used them before.

I doubt you would want to. Most people (at least in the USA) dont even have the upload speed to send to a single remote location over the internet on the Vita (and the PS4 has a much higher resolution, so more data to send). Since the data goes directly to the remote device, and doesnt stop at Sonys servers, it
