Looking at the month to month sales data shows quite clearly that the PS3 outsold the 360 worldwide (nearly) every month. There are a few spikes where the 360 jumps above the PS3 for a very short time (without looking, I can guess that its a major game release like Halo). Its not trolling, its simple sales data that

I think you are or misinterpreting the data. The PS3 outsold the 360 worldwide every month since its launch. Of course, since the 360 launched a year earlier, Sony had catching up to do for "total numbers" (and the launch year is typically the best year, so there was a LOT of catching up to do, which was hard

I am not trolling, I just honestly think you have no idea what I am talking about. Let me try and clarify so at least we are on the same page.

The problem with this statement is that its hard to find someone who bought a WiiU that wasnt either oblivious (like a parent), or a Nintendo fanboy (I dont use this term in a derogatory fashion). Either way, their claims that the WiiU is either from a heavy bias, or from a place of ignorance. This does not mean

I love Nintendo games, and I want them to fail and fail hard. I will never buy a Nintendo console, and I would love to see Nintendo games on other consoles. If Nintendo has to fail in the hardware market to make this a reality, like getting Sega games on all consoles, then I welcome it. Nay, I look forward to the

Nobody said they were done (far from it). But they didnt have lead last generation where they had a head start and a better price, nor did they have lead the generation before where they had superior hardware, what makes you think they will take the lead this generation? Its not about MS being done, its about them

Microsoft did not have the lead last generation and they released a year earlier and at a cheaper price point. What makes you think with a (more-or-less) equal release date, where Sony has a cheaper price point, is able to produce the hardware at a faster rate, and has all that inertia from E3, and a larger user-base

If you listen to various analysts, they say Sony "predicted" 5 million because they knew they could easily hit that. Its better to underestimate and go over your goal, then to over estimate and not hit it.

Those of us who keep PS+ forever and those of us who keep XBL Gold forever (which in the PS4/Xbox One era will be the vast majority), the PS+ guys have a much better library. Its only the edge cases, with the people who need or choose to cancel for a couple months, that the XBL Gold scenario becomes beneficial, but I

I think Pachter is fairly intelligent and has a good grasp on games industry, even when it means that a favorite device of mine gets unfavorable status (i.e. the Vita). Sony outsold Microsoft worldwide last generation (with a higher price point and a year late start) so its a no brainer to think that they would do

The reason for this is because Nintendo will make those well made games for a console nobody wants, and most gamers tend to buy a console and then buy games for that console, not the other way around. You have to sell the gamer on the hardware first, something Nintendo has not done. I would love to have some Mario,

Or just stop uploading videos with copyrighted songs on them. Seriously, how hard is this? Step 1: Watch your video. Step 2: Does it have copyrighted material? If so, don't continue to Step 3.

Youtube is not the problem, copyright law is, you won't escape that going somewhere else. A smaller site might not be worth the trouble for various groups to target, but if a lot of people switched to it over Youtube, they would be targeted by the same lawsuits and have to implement copy control just as much.

Its fun for a little while. When I played it (started at launch, stopped shortly after the first expansion), it was a massive bug fest (nothing like flying over a city, watching the buildings load, drop down where your quest is, and sit there for ~15 seconds while all the enemies, that are currently hitting you, load

Get back to me when GW2 is on the consoles. Until then its hardly a substitute. This MMO is competing in a different space, one that has slim pickings.

It was interesting for some games, like it made Heavy Rain so much more immersive. But in general it was just a fun toy to play with occasionally.

There are a few games on the PS3 (FFXIV, UT3, Dust 514, etc...) That have native KB/M support with no special hardware required, just plug and play. Very few developers utilized it even though its a standard part of the console, why would a third party adapter change this?

From what I read its actually not that hard to unlock it with the money from higher races. Its only hard if you try and get it with racing the early races. I don't know or personally care if that's the case. I think they should leave it as is (whatever the difficulty) and remove the ability to buy it.

They are reporting that it works so it looks more legit so people will do it and brick their system.
