In the PlayStation world, Japan was the beta tester, the USA gets that privilege this time around. You get it first, you get the problems. Its the tradeoff.

I've seen so many 1 star reviews from people that never even bought the product, its pathetic! I was looking for a router, reading reviews and so many were like "I bought the model 3 years older and it had issues so this one is probably bad too!". Wtf!?

Its not fact, its opinion pure and simple.

A few good games might be enough for Nintendo fans to buy a console (its how they have survived during many generations) but I would hardly call it a "Hell Yes" for the average gamer. The people that would be swayed by a few 1st party games already have the WiiU.

You seem to think that mobile cell phone games selling well and handhelds not selling as well (and again this is very subjective since the 3DS is still selling 1 million a year which is by any standards, selling well) for example are cause and effect. You are wrong. I do not deny either situation. I deny that the

I couldn't agree more. I think they should ban everyone that is whining about this, cull the dead weight.

I think you want mobile cell phone games to have an impact, but they don't. No more than Wii games had an impact on the PS3 or 360 sales. A completely different market. Handhelds like the Vita are not trying to compete with the people who casually play a game for a few minutes while waiting in line. Sure you may get

I think the WiiU is complete garbage and even I want to strangle the idiots misusing the term next generation. Like it or not, the WiiU is part of the PS4/XBox One generation. Its not a question of power but of the date that it was launched.

Real Racing: Either use tilt controls, or a virtual steering wheel (read: analog), depending on your control scheme. Tilt controls are a joke on any device.

It does. When the shoe was on the other foot, and the 360 had marginally better performance, the 360 crowd didn't hesitate to lord it over the PS3 crowd. Now when the roles are dramatically reversed, "Its not important."

Am I the only one that took that (Microsofts comment) as thinly veiled snark? I guess (to me) Microsoft has done so much evil that everything they do is tainted by it.

The could obviously not say every, with at least COD being less than 1080p. Even one game that does not hit 1080p would make them liars. I would not be surprised if some more object heavy games like FFXIV and Everquest Next, went 720p to be able to push more before culling kicks in (which is a HUGE issue on the PS3

I think you are missing the point because all of the games you named that I recognize have fake buttons. Mostly fake analog sticks and then fake buttons for attack/action/go/break/etc...

I absolutely loved my PS3 fat, but man was it ugly. Still the XBox One side by side with the PS3 fat, I don't know which one is worse...

I understand that this is probably a joke on your part, but in case its not, you know Nintendo owns the rights to those games right?

Did you try it on the PS4 or PS3? Also, your connection speed has nothing to do with it unless you are trying to play outside of your home network which is not the intention of remote play.

I hate when writers try and pass of their own opinion on something as well known fact when the numbers, if you they cared to look, do not agree, so keep on fighting the good fight.

I do not think that your argument is valid. Touch only interfaces are abysmal for the vast majority of game styles (Though they are great for a few). It doesn't matter how nice you make your graphics (and those screenshots are very nice), the control scheme is just not there.

I agree. It annoys me that some writers seem to think that the mobile phone and tablet market are somehow competing with the dedicated game market. As if the 49cc scooter market is competing with the motorcycle market. I said market way too many times...

You are aware that 0.4% IS less than 1% so the new statement does not actually change anything.
