The Carolina Hurricanes will be wearing Hartford Retro uniforms this season, including in Boston in March. I can’t wait to scream “HART-FORD - FAIL-URES” like I did when I was a kid, or every time I’m on I-84.

I wish they had gone with the name Washington Senators. For this underwhelming season, the team could have advertised “Still not the worst Senators in DC” under photos of the ones who voted for Kavanaugh.

As someone who has seen Vlad Guerrero Jr, with my own eyes in New Hampshire, this is a terrible take. He was the best hitter on the field in Double A, (on a team that featured sons of Dante Bichette and Craig Biggio, who didn’t stand out as much) and clearly was born to play baseball.

Cake donuts are fantastic, when done properly. A nice hard sweet crust, with a soft, chew, sweet interior. It’s a subtle sweetness that doesn’t need the artifice of added sugar in the form of frosting, creme, or glaze.

I like a good frosted or Boston creme, like any other red-blooded American, but too much sugar kills…
