This show has always had a "show don't tell" problem. They'll film a gratuitous opening sequence on location in Europe for no reason yet when it comes to revealing May's backstory, they just sit around and chat about it.
Except for the terrible dialogue and cardboard cut out characters.
The dialogue in this show. Ye Gods… And the hoary old tropes… If they finish the season without at least one instance of someone holding a dead body in their arms and screaming "NOOOOOOOO!" at the sky, I will be genuinely shocked.
Really don't think this show has the balls to keep Agent Whitey McBlanderson evil. Nothing they've done so far leads me to believe they won't attempt to redeem him.
Somehow I'm not all that comforted by knowing that I sat through 15 episodes of shite (The Bridge was pretty okay) just to get to the episode with the Big Reveal.
