I love the idea of this, but it mainly just seems to me like they are cancelling the 6 coupe and renaming it the 8 with a refresh. I guess we’ll wait and see. They certainly like to move their numbers around the last 5 years, and I thought they were going with an even/odd pattern for coupes/sedans.

Rear end steering wasn’t a factory option, but if you add enough options (supercharger, heads, etc) it becomes an option.
