Did somebody say cutaway cars?

BMW used a couple viscous couplings (center and rear) on the old iX’s (at least e30's). I’m at a loss, can only remember that they leased used of the system from another company who had invented it. And I’m saying that wrong, but I think that you can extrapolate what is really meant.

By first photo, I thought that was Henry Rollins.

People in the US are willing to pay significantly more in terms of initial cost and in terms of long term cost from increased maintenance and lower fuel economy to not have to deal with snow tires. Go figure.

I’m sure it does. It’s a crossover that looks like a car, basically. And from a practicality standpoint it’s much better than any crossover. There is much more usable space in a Jetta Sportwagen vs. a Tiguan, I think. Same goes for the X1 vs. 3 series Touring.

There is apparently still a big demand for it. Audi (at least in the U.S.) doesn’t even offer the Avant in A4 or 6, just the Audi Allroad. VW now has the Alltrack, Volvo has the rugged version of the V60 and 90 plus the XC70 that all fall in that segment. Subaru skipped out on the Legacy wagon to only offer the

Now that’s my kind of guy! Why? Because he eats Cheerios.

Neither.

I have a feline that cats like to drive.

Well I bought a 2007 S600 with a blown motor for $4500 if that tells you anything. It’s been reliable. I just think this particular engineering mistake on Mercedes was intolerable.

The reporter is probably just copping an attitude because it is difficult to hold 1.) her hat on, 2.) the microphone, and 3.) that guy’s beer.

Maybe instead of giving away a car that doesn’t fucking exist yet, they should make their bodycams cheaper (and make sure they don’t “break” or “deactivate” so easily when in use) so that more police departments can afford them.

Really more of a 5-year plan than an incentive, then.
