Hmm a sad post indeed. However I will happily take it. In my country this would fetch a profit. Parts are scarce.

It’s a shame. Americans would complain about any and everything wrong with it. The truth is that it is a mid engined, entry level, sports car. We need more of these. Paddles is a small price to pay for another good option in this segment.
What boost pressure is run in the si?
haha even Collegehumor got in on it.
Good to see they downsized that stupid iPad like display.
The first gen forester will take on a new one all day long. It just needs a head gasket youth fountain.
You couldn’t be more right. The 2nd gen sti with a refurbished ej will blow a new one out of the water. They were the lightest our of all generations. Also didn’t have to meet as strict emotions standard, but that can be solved with a decent downpipe or turbo back exhaust.
If you think they are all over modified, just wait until we start importing them after the time contraint.
....Is the govt. Who cares who is running it. They rarely get it right.
Wait a second. I believe I forgot something. Is it possible to turn off an ALS? Would that help preserve a turbo, if not how do the turbos stand up to the extra abuse? Im curious now.
mmmm anti lag
The effects can be measured greatly. With an anti-lag system the life of the turbo is significantly decreased. That said, the only knowledge I have of anti-lag is it’s application in rally. I would guess that most rally teams are not too worried about things such as longevity for the turbo. Most have one or two back…
Ew auto start/stop. But then again.. perhaps it is a gift to hear that v10 roar to life EVERY time you come to a stop.
Reminds me of the time I was trying to teach my little brother how to drive. At this time we had a 2004 GX470 (moms), 94' Camry (mom’s bf), and my 04 Focus. One Sunday she sent us to the store and all other cars were unavailable. My little brother begged me, and I let him drive. I get out to direct him because we have…
It look like this 818 had a child and drank (heavily) during the pregnancy.
Shame. It should be a passenger dictated VTEC button.
Can anyone tell me what that button/switch is underneath the glove box on the side of the center tunnel?
Haha! It is quite ironic that I laugh at myself for doing that, yet most BMW’s have the engine noise piped through the speakers nowadays.
Fun fact. The reason the BRZ is cheaper than the 86 is that there are 3 trim levels for the brz: base, premium, and limited. The 86 only has one trim. The one trim is supposed to be all encompassing and satisfying.
