That would be true… if I were a croquet player.

Oh, hey, this is pretty cool… Yeah, I like, I like… Wait, why is the "y" backwards at the end?
I was disappointed it didn't have the snowman with ice cream scoop in his back. That's one of my favorites. And it didn't have any of Calvin's melting, expressionistic/Dada snowmen he makes during the spring. Still cool, though.
I loved everything related to Erik and Xavier, but most everything else was pretty cheesy.
First Class was definitely best of the superhero batch this year, but it sort of disappointed me; the trailers made me expect a Casino Royale-style gritty reboot (which in some ways it was), but instead I got a stripper with fairy wings shooting fireballs out of her mouth.
Another Hanna fan! Hooee. I had no idea so many people disliked it until I came to this thread. To me, it's like the uptempo Drive - obviously very stylish and exhilarating, but it may seem kind of superficial unless you really, really pay attention to all the subtext.
I'm deeply offended that you put Hanna in the same category as those other three turds. Seriously, this might have been the worst year for blockbusters in a while. Everything was so disappointing.
1. Drive
2. Hanna
3. 50/50
4. Rango
5. Jane Eyre
6. Take Shelter
7. Hugo
8. Warrior
9. Attack the Block
10. Moneyball
Maybe I should take one.
There's nothing so tantalizing and frustrating as seeing a "Comment removed" with lots of likes and an apoplectic reply.
Twide and Twejudice! Wait, am I doing this right?
Are you joking? AVClub is a beacon of light in the dark, mucky cave of the internet.
Seemed like a conscious decision to put the two most attractive women on the show in baggy, unflattering costumes (though even as a deflated sumo, Aubrey was still pretty hot)
I watched Memento and I… uh…
Any chance the Evil timeline will somehow come back? The length of that tag and Abed hearing them/whatever happened there sort of made me think they might be back. And they'd better be. That tag was amazing.
I'm always surprised that people gloss over Conspiracy Theories, which has the best-ever line for someone outside the group:
Try watching Finding Nemo. Good lord. I just gave up about twenty minutes in.
Ed Harris. It's gotta be Ed Harris.
I don't think Ebert is a great critic, but he is one of the all-time best reviewers.
I wish. I'll never be witty or distinctive enough to truly join the ranks of the AVClub.
